Get Relief for Hand, Wrist & Arm Pain Caused by Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome

Hand, wrist and arm pain can be caused by a number of different conditions. It is important to determine the root cause. Many times discomfort is caused by sprains, strains, or falls that cause fractures to the hand, wrist, or elbow. Injuries can also be caused by repetitive actions.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Many people complain about a feeling of numbness and tingling in their hand or arm. It is caused by pressure on the nerve in your wrist. This is known as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and is typically caused by repetitive and forceful movements. This results in swelling around the tendons and pinching of the median nerve, causing the tingling sensation, lack of muscle strength and control in the hand, and pain shooting from the hand up to the shoulder.

Chiropractic manipulation is often used to treat Carpal Tunnel by applying therapy to those joints which help to move the wrist more easily. Soft tissue treatments that help alleviate muscle tension can also be applied and exercises may be recommended to help improve muscle strength and minimize muscle strain.
